Welcome

I'm so glad you've taken the time to find my home on the internet.

My name is Pam and I am a director, actress, playwright, and private coach. I have been teaching acting for over 20 years, currently at The T. Schreiber Studio. My past teaching engagements include 15 years at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (where I am an Alumni as an actor), The Academy of Film and Television, and Stella Adler. I'm a member of the Playwright and Directors Unit of The Actors Studio and a protege of Sandra Seacat's dream work for actors.

Some of the actors I've coached are: Julia Garner (Three-time Emmy Award winner) in Ozark and Inventing Anna (Netflix); Phyllis Smith ("Phyllis" of The Office) in The O. A. (Netflix); Scott Haze (one of Variety's 10 Actors to Watch in 2013) in Old Henry (Hideout Pictures), What Josiah Saw (Randomix Productions), Jurassic World Dominion (Amblin Entertainment, The Kennedy/Marshall Company, Perfect World Pictures), The Seeding, and Horizon; Sophie Cookson in Gypsy (Netflix); Madeleine Arthur in Blockbuster and Devil in Ohio (Netflix).

I'm also the Producing Artistic Director of Aching Dogs Theatre, and of the professional showcase venue called Lunch: Live!

My philosophy is simple: to create a safe and nurturing environment that empowers actors to do their very best work. There are no mistakes in acting: you try something, you explore yourself and the character, and you see what resonates. If something doesn't work, then you've given yourself a gift: you've tried it, so now you can try something new.
